There is a network of marked hiking trails in the area around the campsite where you can experience nature up close or overlook the Byglandsfjord from the top of the mountain.
Various hiking maps are available at reception.Directly from the site you will find cycle paths with little traffic, and on the other side of the Byglandsfjord runs the national cycle route no. 3. You can also cycle on gravel roads into the mountains and try your luck at fishing for large trout in the mountain water.
Nearby you can also visit the Elk Park to greet the King of the Forest, visit the Rafting Center with numerous activity options or explore the Mineral Park with everything the Mineral Kingdom has to offer.
